Motion sickness is a series of physiological responses to the wrong perception of exercise status by the body. Many people develop it in extreme conditions. Various products aimed at treating motion sickness exist, but their effectiveness varies. To address motion sickness, a balance between an individual's vision, vestibular system, and sensory perceptions is essential. One approach to mitigate this is the creation of an artificial horizon. This design entails a lantern-style concentrated light source mounted on a gyroscope gimbal, intended for passengers who are susceptible to motion sickness on medium-sized sightseeing ships and recreational vehicles.
